Description
|
The Drug-Gene Report provides a clinically focused educational summary of published information for drugs selected from our list (Pharmacogenetics Drug List), based on the patient's CYP genotype results. The drugs you select will determine which genes require testing*. The metabolism of certain medications is primarily influenced by one gene and important information can be obtained by ordering a single-gene Signature Genetics Drug-Gene Report. This allows more affordable access to clinically relevant pharmacogenetic information. Alternatively, the Drug-Gene Report can be ordered to provide information for a drug regimen that would require two or three-gene testing.
When you order a Drug-Gene Report through our web-based Physician portal, genes that require testing (based on your drug selection) are listed automatically.
*Please note that genetic testing is done by an independent third-party CLIA-approved laboratory in the United States.
Our Signature Genetics Reports can provide information for the following genes on drug metabolism.
